Made in Chesterfield United Cast Bar Tour

With more than £1bn of investment happening in Chesterfield over the next 10 years, the town is really going places and so are its young people.

Big developments in the town, including Chesterfield Waterside, Peak Resort, Northern Gateway and Markham Vale are forecast to create more than 4,000 jobs for the area, providing opportunity for future school leavers.

But who are the stars of North East Derbyshire’s schools that we should be looking out for? The Derbyshire Times, in conjunction with Destination Chesterfield, asked schools from throughout the area to highlight students are excelling in their fields.

From academia and sport to music, drama and literature, the area’s schools are a hotbed of talent and here are just a few of the young people studying within them who are considered the Ones to Watch.

Emily Bullivan – Hasland Hall School

Emily’s love for reading has allowed her to become an ambassador for Hasland Hall School.
