Future Life Wealth Management
Future Life Wealth Management offers a bespoke financial planning service to generators of wealth, typically business owners, executives and professionals and also to receivers of wealth, such as inheritors, divorcees, widows and retirees.
The company was founded in 2009 by Jillian Thomas, one of our region’s most highly-qualified and experienced financial planners, and opened its offices just outside Chesterfield in the grounds of Renishaw Hall.
“We started the business at a point when confidence in all things financial was at an all time low,” says Jill. In our industry trust is paramount, but trust had been broken down globally. We knew that to reassure existing investors and win new business, our systems would have to do away with complexity and provide open and transparent procedures when administering clients’ financial affairs, whilst providing a complete framework of advice which could include every facet of their financial existence.”
Two years on the business has enjoyed phenomenal growth, meeting its Year 1 financial targets in 5 months and winning a fistful of awards, including Start Up of the Year (Women in Business), Enterprise Award (Chamber of Commerce), Use of Technology (Women in Business, and Most Promising New Business in the Yorkshire and Humberside region (Chambers of Commerce). Future Life also became the first financial advisor in our region to be recommended by CityWire, the industry’s acknowledged experts.
“I have lived on the fringes of the Peak District since my family moved from the North East when I was a child,” says Jill. We are offering a ‘big city’ service, with the highest levels of expertise and service and it’s arguable we should have located in London, Leeds or Manchester, but I love it here, and Chesterfield itself is positively buzzing at the moment, which makes for a great environment for business.
