Libbys is a shopping| emporium within the unique small department store environment of '479' Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield. The building is 'home' to a community of complimentary businesses. Simply walking through the doors gives the customer access to an entire shopping experience ranging from antiques and objet d'arts, fabulous chocolates, fresh patisseries, exclusive ceramics and original art pieces, gifts to thrill as well as an accomplished beauty therapist offering luxurious treatments and a wide range of products.
Libby Morris, Owner says "For years I have held the conviction that shoppers want more than a flying visit to a faceless store. My vision was to create a lovely, warm environment, packed with different and delightful things which customers would want to ponder over without pressure, or hindrance.
Customers can expect the very highest level of service with time and attention paid to their quest, be it for a finishing touch to a re-decorated sitting room or help with a tricky gift solution.
We have introduced a new service where a customer can create a wish list for partners/children/friends to access when shopping for a special gift in store.
To add an extra twist, Ian Morris Antiques is part of the business giving me access to his 40 years professional experience as a highly regarded antiques dealer. We have intermingled an eclectic mix of contemporary interiors pieces with antique furniture, paintings and other lovely yet affordable collectables. After all, antiques really are 'green' as they are a perfect example of recycling!
My philosophy is simple; shopping should be a pleasurable experience, one that my customers will enjoy as they browse a colourful array of lovely, different and affordable items.
I travel extensively throughout Europe (including the UK) to source beautiful things, making sure that I meet the suppliers and understand their business ethics and practices. My priority is to work with the best of the best, and to provide a collection of fabulous merchandise, which isn't to be found everywhere. We're different and we're proud of it!"
