The Taylor Oliver Partnership provides a personal financial planning service based around five core values – trust, transparency, simplicity, enthusiasm and understanding – and is one of the few Chartered Financial Planning firms in the area.
The award-winning firm is based on The Bridge Business Centre, a successful development ideally located for both road and rail networks.
The firm moved there three years ago after initially launching in Sheffield and it is a decision that partners Steve Taylor and Louise Oliver have never regretted.
“Louise and I are both from Sheffield but now live with our families in Chesterfield,” Steve says.
“We relocated because we believe Chesterfield is an up and coming location for developing businesses and Chesterfield Champions is a fantastic way to promote this.
“We are particularly pleased to be able to bring quality financial planning advice to Derbyshire where experience is already showing us that we are providing a service that is needed.”
Following a year of record-breaking profit and turnover, Steve and Louise are now aiming to expand their team as their client base continues to grow.
“The year ahead is going to be extremely important for us, particularly because of the Retail Distribution Review, which is a major shake-up of the financial services sector,” Steve explains.
“The RDR will mean that financial planners will have to be highly qualified to practice, which we already are, and also there will be a move to fee-based practices, which again we already are so we are fully prepared for the challenges ahead
