Christmas shopping times
Here are the Christmas shopping opening times in Chesterfield, so you can plan your festive shopping trip.
Chesterfield Market
As well as festive themed markets, Chesterfield Market will be trading every Monday, Friday and Saturday throughout November, with the Flea Market taking place on Thursdays.
From Thursday 14th December 2023, the market will trade every day until Sunday 24th December 2023.
The Pavements Shopping Centre
There’s a variety of popular shops in The Pavements Shopping Centre including local independent shops and major high street names.
The Centre will be shut on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th December 2023.
On the 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th December 2023 normal open hours apply, 9am – 5pm. Tesco will be open 8am – 8pm.
The Centre will also be open on New Years Eve (Sunday 31st December 2023) 10am – 4pm, but will be shut New Years Day (Monday 1st January 2024).
Vicar Lane Shopping Centre
Vicar Lane Shopping Centre is home to a range of popular high-street retailers and a mix of unique independent stores.
The centre and car park will be open to customers all days apart from Christmas Day. Sunday hours (10am – 4pm) apply on Christmas Eve (Sunday 24th December 2023) and New Years Eve Sunday 31st December 2023). Normal opening hours apply from Wednesday 27th – Saturday 30th 2023. The centre will also be open normal hours on New Years Day (Monday 1st January 2024).
Before visiting, it is advised to check in advance the opening times for individual retailers.
