Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Employability & Skills Conference

This event has now passed. Please check back for updates.

Do you want to know more about opportunities, funding and support available to upskill your workforce? The next Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Employability & Skills Conference will highlight the support available to businesses and provide the opportunity to meet advisors and leaders who will update you on emerging topics, initiatives, funding and opportunities.

The agenda will update on inclusive growth and recruitment, upskilling support for business and a new skills brokerage service which will provide specialist impartial advice with a range of workforce development solutions from recruitment and succession planning to assistance with apprenticeships and information on funded courses.

Time will be dedicated to an Interactive Round Table, where you will be able to engage with and ask the expert table hosts questions about skills support and funding.

Speakers, table hosts and exhibitors will be on hand to answer your questions. Click here to see the organisations attending on the day.

The conference seeks to strengthen existing links between education providers and local businesses to ensure school leavers are work-ready and have the opportunity to ‘make it’ in their hometown.

The Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Employability & Skills Conference is delivered by the Chesterfield Skills and Employment Partnership in association with Chesterfield Borough Council and Destination Chesterfield.
