Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a web search engine’s unpaid results.
This workshop is tailored for businesses who want to maximise their online potential with basic SEO techniques, to engage more with customers and see sales improve.
The session will cover some of the fundamental tips which can be used on WordPress websites to improve the chances of ranking higher in Google, as well as improvements for user interaction.
At the end of the workshop delegates will have developed an understanding of SEO and why it is so important, how to understand WordPress and tips to get the best results from it, discuss the top free plugins for SEO, basic SEO techniques including the importance of keywords and advice on how to maintain a focus on SEO moving forward.
