Golf Development Scheme Taster Day
This August, anyone interested in a career in the golf industry can try out a new scheme which is designed to give people the skills they need for a range of jobs from coaching to customer service.
Chesterfield College is running a unique Golf Development Scheme and there are two taster days being held in August to give people the chance to see the range of skills and expertise the course offers before it begins.
The course provides the opportunity to develop golf skills and work experience in a wide range of different areas within the world of golf, from green keeping and hospitality to customer service and administration. Students will work at South Chesterfield Golf Club with professionals and gain experience and skills that will prepare them for a career once you have completed the course.
The course is a fully funded full-time programme for 16-19 year olds. It is also open to adults but some fees might apply. No experience of golf is required to do the course and students will gain a recognised sports coaching qualification with exceptional work experience opportunities.
To take part in the taster days call to book.
