Parkside student beats 1500 students to top spot in engineering challenge

Parkside student, Corylee Chamber attempted the Chesterfield Special Cylinders Assembly Challenge at the 'Get up to Speed' Global Manufacturing Festival in Sheffield last month. This involved the assembly of a series of fixtures and fittings in a particular method. His time of 55 seconds was the winning time by over thirty seconds, beating over 1500 students from Sheffield schools and the surrounding area.
