Chesterfield Champions

Pure Business

Pure Business is Chesterfield and north Derbyshire’s only dedicated B2B magazine – to promote, inform and entertain local businesses.

Aiming to keep the area’s business community in touch with latest local developments and issues, it also provides a targeted, high quality marketing platform for goods and services.

An editorially-led quarterly publication, it is delivered free of charge to businesses and key outlets – including hotels, cafes, golf clubs, visitor centres, business centres and council offices – throughout the region.

Pure Business is also available as an e-magazine, with plans in 2017 to further develop our online offer.

Launched in March 2016, Pure Business is produced by Buxton-based Merit Publications Limited, also publishers of sister titles Pure Buxton and Pure Bakewell.

Owners Steve Caddy and Lesley Draper lived in Chesterfield for many years before moving to Buxton in 2013 and retain strong local connections. Pure Business editor Fiona Stubbs was born and brought up in Chesterfield and returned to live in the town a decade ago.

“There’s such a diverse and dynamic business community in and around Chesterfield that we believe the region deserves its own dedicated B2B publication,” says Fiona. “We would like to make businesses more aware of each other and help them to identify potential trade opportunities. As a quality magazine found in hotels, visitor and business centres, we also have the opportunity to give potential inward investors a comprehensive view of what the region has to offer, complementing the great work that Destination Chesterfield does in marketing the town and its business community.”
