Chesterfield Champions

Teresa Lambarelli’s

Teresa Lambarelli is proud to have been producing her own Italian pasta sauces in Chesterfield since 2005, alongside her exciting range of salad dressings, olive pastes and Italian biscotti.

In 2013, Teresa Lambarelli won Chesterfield Food Producer of the Year in the town’s first Food and Drink Awards, hosted by Ainsley Harriott. She has since won this in 2016 & 2017 as her business has continued to develop.

As a child Teresa worked in her family’s Chesterfield-based business, Lambarelli’s restaurant, where she learned the secret recipes of the best Southern Italian cuisine.

“My sauces are based on my father’s recipes, handed down from his mother, (my grandmother), who originated from a small village in Southern Italy — Accadia di Puglia.

I use Italian plum tomatoes from the Puglia region and fresh local ingredients when possible to ensure my sauces are always fresh and full of flavour as a pasta sauce should be.

For the last two years I have had access to helpful support from the Champions network, which has helped my business to grow and become more successful. Champions breakfast meetings are a great way to meet other businesses and to hear all the different services that are available to members, along with news of Chesterfield’s latest developments.

Chesterfield is becoming a well known town where many diverse businesses are thriving, and becoming home to many top quality food producers, cafes and restaurants. I am proud to be a part of it.”

All of Teresa’s own brand products are available for purchase at her traditional Italian Coffee bar based on Chatsworth Road – Cafe Aroma & Delicatessen and online at
