Pubs and Bars
Enjoy fresh food and great entertainment in our pubs and bars
There’s a great selection of independent pubs and bars in Chesterfield where you’re sure to receive a warm welcome!
Real ale is a popular choice here with three local Breweries – Brampton Brewery, Spire Brewery, and Raw Brewery. There are a number of local events during the summer months from the CAMRA Beer Festival at The Winding Wheel to Rail Ale at Barrow Hill Roundhouse. Or why not stop in at one of our many real ale pubs such as The Rose & Crown or Tramway Tavern where you can try cask-conditioned ales from Brampton Brewery.
In the town centre, traditional pub, The Market serves fresh, seasonal dishes and regular live music. Or if you’d like to try one of Chesterfield’s bars, head to Holywell Street or Corporation street, alongside popular Chesterfield Theatres and just a short walk from Chesterfield train station.
If you’re looking for a country inn with spectacular countryside views, try The Fox & Goose Inn on Pudding Pie Hill, just a short drive from the town centre.
