Spend your summer in Chesterfield – Council announces extensive events and activities programme

Families are being encouraged to find out what’s on offer to entertain the little ones this summer holidays, with a bumper package of activities running in Chesterfield.

Chesterfield Borough Council will be working with local partners to deliver events and activities across the town centre, local parks, Chesterfield Museum and leisure centres.

Councillor Kate Sarvent, cabinet member for town centre and visitor economy, said: “We’ve got lots planned that will make a family staycation really exciting and we’ve tried to make sure everyone can create great memories together this summer without breaking the bank.

“I encourage everyone to take a look at what’s going on across the borough, as there’s something for everyone to enjoy right here on our doorstep.”
