West Studios is a non-residential meeting venue in Chesterfield

Based in the Old Boys’ Grammar School on Sheffield Road, West Studios is a creative centre hosting 17 small creative businesses, offering a contemporary and relaxed working environment.

With a full range of equipment and a friendly and dedicated team, West Studios offers an ideal setting for meetings, training days, networking events and presentations.

In 2020, West studios added the newly refurbished Theatre Studio, based within the Colleges art building, to their event hire offer.

There are a variety of rooms accommodating every occasion including:

• Meeting room – Space available for up to 30 people. Computer and projector available, alongside interactive SMART board.
• Drop-in studio – Space available for up to 40 people. Computer available for use, projector available by arrangement.
• Exhibition space – Space available for up to 50 people. Computer and large screen interactive TV available. Projector available by arrangement.
• Theatre studio – Newly refurbished theatre hosting 140-seat performance and conferencing space. Equipped with its own production room and professional light and sound. (full day £500; half day £300).

The light and airy reception area boasts a large screen, interactive TV, free Wi-Fi and good natural light.  This can be used for casual meetings, seminars, networking events, breakout sessions and more social activities.

The Meeting Room offers a more traditional facility for meetings and seminars.  Offering a SMART interactive projector, free Wi-Fi and good natural light, it’s the ideal place to deliver a professional presentation.

Also on offer is the Drop-in Studio – an informal, flexible space that can be used for more relaxed meetings and seminars, team building activities and networking and creative events.  This space can accommodate a projector with laptop link up, projecting onto the whitewashed walls.

The Meeting Room, Drop-in Suite and Exhibiton space can all be booked as there is a natural flow from one to another for larger events and exhibitions.

A range of tempting refreshments and lunches are also available to suit all dietary requirements requirements, ranging from Danish pastries to Executive lunches.
