Chesterfield Champions recognised for growth, service and international success

Chesterfield Champions are celebrating a strong run of national recognition and international success, with EyeSiteView, CMP Legal, and Eden Tyres & Servicing all achieving major milestones that highlight our town’s growing reputation.

EyeSiteView wins global award within ten months of launch

Chesterfield-based technology company EyeSiteView has achieved international recognition after winning Best Digital Transformation Project at the Global PropTech Awards, just ten months after launching.

EyeSiteView, a PropTech startup focused on transforming how new homes are bought and sold, received the award on Tuesday, 10th of March at the ExCeL London during the London PropTech Show, one of the sector’s leading global events.

The win marks a major milestone for the business, which was established less than a year ago following its transition from Oasis Studio. Since launching as a standalone company, EyeSiteView has quickly built a reputation for delivering meaningful digital innovation across the UK property and construction sector, an industry often described as slow to adopt new technology.

The company’s platform connects the entire home-buying journey into a single digital experience, allowing buyers to explore and understand properties before they are built, while helping developers improve sales performance. Traditionally, off-plan purchases rely heavily on brochures and drawings, but EyeSiteView replaces this with immersive digital tools that provide greater clarity and confidence for buyers.

EyeSiteView Business Development lead, Jade Chinn, said:

“To win a global award just ten months after launching is something we’re incredibly proud of.

We may be a small startup, but this shows that you don’t have to be a large organisation to make a meaningful impact. With the right ideas, the right team, and a clear focus on solving real problems, small businesses can achieve big things.

The property industry is one of the largest and most important sectors in the UK, and we’re excited to be playing a part in modernising how homes are bought and sold.”

The award recognises both innovation and strong commercial impact, with EyeSiteView projects delivering a 41.7% increase in upgrade and optional extras revenue for developers and more than 60% of homes sold off-plan on certain developments.

CMP Legal marks five years of growth with Dealmakers recognition

Chesterfield-based CMP Legal has been shortlisted in multiple regional Dealmakers Awards, marking five years of rapid growth and strengthening its reputation as a leading corporate adviser.

The Chesterfield-based law firm has been recognised in the South Yorkshire and East Midlands Dealmakers Awards, highlighting its growing reputation across the region and nationally. The firm has been shortlisted in the Deal of the Year (sub £10m) category for its role advising on the merger of Mitchells Chartered Accountants (SMH Mitchells) with SMH Group, acting as legal advisers to SMH Group on the transaction.

The recognition follows further success in the Insider East Midlands Dealmakers Awards 2026, where CMP Legal has been named a finalist in three categories: Corporate Law Firm of the Year, Deal of the Year (up to £10m), and Dealmaker of the Year for Director Anna Cattee.

Anna Cattee, Director at CMP Legal, said:

“The last five years have been transformational for CMP Legal. We have grown from an ambitious start-up into an award-winning firm with a strong reputation across the region and nationally.

“In just five years we have built a firm focused on commercial, pragmatic legal advice and outstanding client service. These shortlistings, alongside our recent Sheffield & District Law Society and Yorkshire Legal Awards success, show the strength of that approach as we continue to grow.”

The firm’s recent success builds on a strong track record of awards and recognition, including Employment Team of the Year at the 2026 Sheffield & District Law Society Awards and Corporate and Commercial Law Firm of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards. CMP Legal also remains the only Chesterfield-based firm recognised in the ‘Corporate and Commercial: Elsewhere in East Midlands’ category in the Legal 500.

Looking ahead, CMP Legal is continuing to invest in its services, with plans to launch a dedicated commercial property department later this year. The move reflects the firm’s ambition to expand its full-service commercial offering and support an increasing number of transactions expected in 2026.

Winners of the East Midlands Dealmakers Awards will be announced on Thursday, 21st May 2026, followed by the South Yorkshire event on Thursday, 18th June 2026.

The award highlights the branch’s consistent commitment to supporting motorists across the town, with strong customer feedback praising the team’s professionalism, honesty and reliability. In a competitive month across the wider business, the Chesterfield branch stood out for both the volume and quality of feedback received.

Led by Branch Manager Ryan, the team has built a strong reputation locally, with customers returning regularly and recommending the service to others. Feedback throughout March highlighted the team’s willingness to go above and beyond, whether accommodating last-minute bookings or providing clear, honest advice.

Chesterfield community groups encouraged to apply for £250,000 grant funding

Community groups and voluntary organisations across Chesterfield are being encouraged to apply for a share of £250,000 in grant funding to help deliver projects that improve life for local people.

Eligible organisations can apply for grants ranging from £500 to £6,000 through the Community Grants Fund Scheme, delivered by Chesterfield Borough Council. A proportion of the funding has also been allocated for larger capital projects of up to £50,000.

The Community Grants Fund supports initiatives that promote healthier lifestyles, create volunteering opportunities, encourage greener choices and help build stronger neighbourhoods across the borough.

Since launching in 2023, the scheme has awarded more than £500,000 to over 100 local groups. Funding has already supported a wide range of projects, including foodbanks, community hubs, local events, skills development programmes and employment support initiatives.

Funding for the 2026 to 2028 programme has been made possible through money raised by Chesterfield Borough Council via the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) neighbourhoods portion, alongside support from Chesterfield Town Board’s Pride in Place programme, funded by the UK Government.

Councillor Tricia Gilby, Leader of Chesterfield Borough Council, said:

“Since the council launched the scheme in 2023, the Community Grants Fund has helped local groups to deliver more than 100 projects that are having a significant impact on our local communities.

“We are pleased that through funding raised through the CIL neighbourhoods portion, together with funding from the Pride in Place programme, we are able to continue to deliver this scheme and have a further £250,000 available for eligible groups this year, with more to come next year.

“We really are lucky to have so many community groups and voluntary organisations here in Chesterfield that work tirelessly to deliver projects and initiatives and make a real difference to the lives of local people and we’re really proud that we’re able to continue to support them through this scheme.”

Dominic Staniforth, Partner at BHP LLP and Chair of Chesterfield Town Board, added:

“Supporting local people to make a real difference in their communities – delivering the things that are important to them – is a key part of the Pride in Place programme, so we’re really pleased to be able to use some of this funding to support local voluntary and community organisations to do just that.

“The Community Grants Fund scheme that Chesterfield Borough Council has successfully delivered for the past three years aligns with these values, and that is why the Chesterfield Town Board took the decision to invest Pride in Place funding into the project – allowing it to support even more fantastic initiatives. We look forward to seeing these grassroots projects come to life.”

How to apply

Applications for the funding scheme are open until Friday, 19th June 2026.

The council will continue to offer community development support to groups wishing to apply for funding.

Further information about eligibility criteria and the types of projects that can be supported is available at: www.chesterfield.gov.uk/community-grants-fund

Steelwork completes as final phase of ARK takes place

Steelwork has been completed on the final phase of the ARK industrial and logistics (I&L) scheme at Markham Vale, marking a key milestone in the delivery of the £30 million development.

ARK is a high-quality industrial and logistics development at Markham Vale, designed to deliver modern, sustainable employment space for manufacturing, distribution and logistics businesses. The scheme places strong emphasis on ESG principles, including energy efficiency, long-term performance and environmentally responsible design.

Origin, a joint venture between HBD, part of Henry Boot, and Feldberg Capital, is delivering the circa £9 million second phase of ARK, which will provide a final 53,700 sq ft unit.

Practical completion is expected in Q3 2026.

The milestone follows completion of the first phase in October 2025, which delivered 107,000 sq ft of ESG-compliant industrial and logistics space. Capital Angling was the first occupier at the landmark M1 scheme, taking a 17,050 sq ft unit.

Markham Vale is a 200-acre industrial and logistics development delivered by HBD in joint venture with Derbyshire County Council. Positioned at the heart of the motorway network with direct access to the M1 via Junction 29a, the scheme has become one of the region’s most established business locations, creating more than 2,600 jobs and attracting a range of national and international occupiers including Great Bear Distribution, Smurfit Kappa and Bilstein.

Vivienne Clements, Executive Director at HBD, said:

“The completion of steels at ARK keeps us firmly on track for the delivery of phase two later this year. As a flagship location, Markham Vale continues to attract a wide range of occupiers thanks to its connectivity and strong track record. We’re pleased to be delivering additional high-quality space that supports business growth and job creation in the region.”

Jamie Acheson, Managing Director of Feldberg Capital, said:

“ARK demonstrates our focus on targeting well-connected locations and delivering best-in-class, sustainable assets that meet business’ evolving requirements. With demand for ESG-compliant space continuing to grow, ARK is well-placed to attract high-quality occupiers.”

ARK is being developed to a BREEAM Excellent specification, reflecting Origin’s commitment to delivering next-generation industrial and logistics space designed for long-term sustainability and operational efficiency.

The agents for ARK are Knight Frank, JLL and CPP.

DRIIVe rail innovation centre completed ahead of opening

Construction of a landmark rail innovation and training centre in Staveley has been completed, marking a significant milestone for Chesterfield’s rail sector development.

The Derbyshire Rail Industry Innovation Vehicle (DRIIVe), located next to the historic Barrow Hill Roundhouse, will open later this year and will create new jobs, training opportunities and research facilities for the rail industry.

Delivered by Chesterfield Borough Council, the state-of-the-art facility was constructed by contractor Stepnell.

Designed as a flagship destination for the rail industry, DRIIVe will provide modern classrooms and training spaces, specialist research and development facilities, including a digital laboratory, and high-quality commercial workshop space.

The project forms part of the multi-million-pound Staveley Town Deal programme and has also received support from the East Midlands Combined County Authority.

Councillor Tricia Gilby, Leader of Chesterfield Borough Council and Vice Chair of the Staveley Town Deal Board, said:

“It’s fantastic to see work on the construction of DRIIVe now complete. This has been a long-standing ambition for our council, and its delivery strengthens Chesterfield’s position within the rail sector.

“DRIIVe is a unique facility that not only provides space for businesses to undertake vital research and development, including cutting-edge digital innovation, but also creates new training opportunities for local people. This will help us attract high-value employers to the area while ensuring our residents gain the skills and qualifications needed to secure high-quality jobs in the industry.

“Partnership has been at the heart of DRIIVe and this spirit of collaboration will continue. By working with businesses and industry experts we can ensure that this project will deliver for our community. I’m looking forward to meeting the first learners when they start on site later this year.”

DRIIVe is being delivered in collaboration with Barrow Hill Engine Shed Society, which will manage the facility on a day-to-day basis.

Mervyn Allcock, General Manager of Barrow Hill Roundhouse and Board Member of the Staveley Town Deal Board, said:

“This is a project of national significance for the rail sector, and we are so proud to have this fantastic facility here at Barrow Hill. It will help improve our commercial offer and strengthen our position in the industry.”

“These state-of-the-art innovation and research facilities will greatly benefit the area by helping to attract new businesses and providing local people with the skills they need to build a great career in the rail sector.”

DRIIVe

The centre will support a network of specialist training providers, offering rail-related education from level two through to postgraduate training and research.

As well as supporting future skills development, DRIIVe will also provide a base for rail supply chain businesses, giving companies access to the latest research, innovation and collaboration opportunities.

Claire Ward, Mayor of the East Midlands and Chair of the East Midlands Combined County Authority, said:

“This isn’t just a new building, it’s a real opportunity for local people, offering them more chances to train, learn new skills and move into well-paid jobs right here in the region.

“By backing projects like this, we’re making sure innovation works for communities, helping people build their future, supporting local businesses, and strengthening the East Midlands as a place where the rail industry can grow and thrive.”

Funding for the project has primarily been provided through the Government-backed Towns Fund programme, which awarded £25.2 million to support regeneration projects across Staveley.

How we’re showcasing Chesterfield as a unique place to invest

Each year, UKREiiF (the UK Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum) brings together investors, developers, councils, and businesses from across the UK to explore where investment will happen next.

Put simply, it’s one of the country’s most important stages for attracting investment and shaping future growth – with more than 16,000 people from across the sector expected to attend.

For us, this isn’t about simply showing up.

It’s about standing out, and making sure Chesterfield is clearly understood as a place where investment can succeed, grow and deliver.

It’s also a shared story. One we are telling alongside our business community and Chesterfield Champions.

A place shaped by real opportunity

We’re entering a significant phase of growth in Chesterfield, with major regeneration already underway and new opportunities coming forward.

Rather than promoting isolated sites, we’re telling a joined-up story. We’re connecting sectors, places and long-term delivery into one clear investment proposition.

From an evolving town centre to strategic employment sites, the pace of change in Chesterfield is visible, and investable.

What makes Chesterfield stand out

Advanced manufacturing and engineering

We are building on a strong manufacturing and engineering heritage, with established strengths at locations such as Markham Vale – a major business park with excellent connectivity and a thriving business base.

This is being taken further through new opportunities at Staveley, part of the East Midlands Investment Zone, bringing forward large-scale sites for advanced manufacturing and green industries.

Together, these sites create the space, and the conditions for long-term, high-value growth.

Regeneration and the built environment

Regeneration is already reshaping Chesterfield.

From town centre transformation to strategic housing development, projects such as Chesterfield Waterside, the Spire Neighbourhood and the Station Masterplan Area are creating new places to live, work and invest.

Alongside this, continued investment in infrastructure and public spaces is improving how people move through and experience our town – strengthening the foundations for future growth.

Visitor economy and quality of place

Investment in our town centre, public spaces and events is bringing more life, energy and activity into Chesterfield.

This isn’t separate from our investment story. It’s a key part of it.

Because when people choose to spend time somewhere, businesses follow. And when businesses grow, confidence in the place grows with them.

Connecting it all: a clear, evidence-based proposition

At UKREiiF, we’re bringing these elements together into a single, compelling narrative.

Taken together, these opportunities represent around £2 billion of investment across Chesterfield and Staveley – spanning new homes, employment sites and town centre regeneration.

Chesterfield plays an important role in the East Midlands’ wider growth ambitions. We’re working closely with partners through the East Midlands Combined County Authority and Team East Midlands to raise the profile of the region and attract investment – ensuring Chesterfield is part of a stronger, more visible regional offer.

The borough also forms part of the Canal Corridor – a strategic growth area identified by EMCCA.

Within this area, plans for Chesterfield and Staveley could deliver up to 3,900 homes and 7,800 jobs, bringing together connected projects – from town centre regeneration to Investment Zone sites – into a coordinated programme of development.

Why this matters

UKREiiF is where places compete for attention, investment and long-term partnerships.

Our role is to ensure Chesterfield is:

  • clearly understood
  • confidently positioned
  • recognised as ready to deliver

Because ultimately, the ambition is simple: to make sure Chesterfield is not just considered but actively chosen.

And UKREiiF is just the start. We’ll carry that momentum forward into our upcoming Chesterfield Investment Summit, where we’ll continue telling Chesterfield’s story and building the partnerships that turn opportunity into delivery.

Get involved

This is a story we are proud to tell,  and one that is strongest when shared.

Handcrafted interiors brand opens new Chesterfield town centre showroom

A new interiors showroom specialising in handcrafted kitchens and bespoke living spaces opened on Monday, 11th May 2026, bringing a fresh independent business to Elder Way.

OTI Interiors, founded by Chesterfield entrepreneur Gavin Grainger, has officially launched its first showroom on Knifesmithgate following several years of bespoke commission work that began during the Covid lockdown.

The business was born from Gavin’s experience running hospitality venues Bottle & Thyme and Elder, alongside personal renovation projects completed during the pandemic.

Gavin explained that the uncertainty facing the hospitality industry at the time encouraged him to explore a new creative direction. He said:

“Covid was a scary time for hospitality, so it was time to try something new. While working on personal projects at home, that’s where OTI was born.”

Drawing on his background in commercial kitchens and hospitality spaces, Gavin says OTI Interiors has been built around creating practical, highly functional environments tailored to modern lifestyles.

“Our goal is to create usable, easy-to-access spaces. Having a commercial kitchen background means we understand the importance of a functional kitchen.”

The new showroom sits within the emerging Elder Way area of the town centre, which Gavin believes is helping to reshape perceptions of the town centre and encourage more people to live, work and spend time in the area.

“Elder Way particularly is bringing more town living, which is increasing footfall.”

Rather than pursuing rapid expansion, OTI Interiors has chosen to remain boutique in its approach, taking on a limited number of handcrafted commissions each year to ensure a highly personalised service.

“We’re a small team and don’t want to overstretch. We spend a lot of time developing and fine tuning our projects to make sure clients get exactly what they want and the service they deserve.”

The company’s design aesthetic focuses on muted neutrals, earthy tones and high-quality craftsmanship, with sustainability and longevity forming central principles of the brand.

OTI Interiors specialises in maximising the functionality of spaces, particularly smaller kitchens, by tailoring layouts around customers’ daily routines and habits.

“For example, if a customer has something very specific for their breakfast, we create an area which works seamlessly to make their morning routine quick and efficient,” Gavin explained.

Visitors to the new showroom can expect to see floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, a solid oak island and a range of high-quality British brands, showcasing the craftsmanship and attention to detail behind the business.

Looking ahead, Gavin hopes to continue growing the OTI Interiors brand across Chesterfield by working closely with homeowners to create distinctive hosting and living spaces.

“People are hosting more at home now. If people can’t always come out as much, we want to create the perfect hosting spaces for them at home.”

OTI Interiors, Elder, and Bottle & Thyme are among the independent businesses helping to shape Chesterfield’s evolving town centre and strengthen its reputation as a vibrant place to live, work and invest.

New owners unveil fresh vision for historic Chesterfield café

A popular café in the heart of Chesterfield town centre has officially relaunched as Prego following new ownership and a major refurbishment of one of the town’s oldest buildings.

Located on Low Pavement, the café officially rebranded on Saturday, 9th May, welcoming customers into a refreshed space which combines modern touches with the restoration of the building’s historic character.

The new owners, originally from Doe Lea, returned to Chesterfield after several years away and immediately saw the potential in the venue when it became available in September 2025.

Deborah Stoddart, co-owner of Prego, said:

“We saw the business and knew straight away we wanted to buy it. It was such a great space, a beautiful building and, as we now know, it has a remarkable history.

“We officially relaunched as Prego. The response from customers has been fantastic. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved so far and excited about what’s still to come.”

Since taking ownership, extensive restoration work has been carried out throughout the property, including uncovering and restoring original oak flooring hidden beneath industrial carpet in the first-floor Tudor room.

“We have worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks to help the building shine once again and show its true beauty. The oak floor was crying out to be seen again, and we’ve restored it by hand.

“The previous owner had painted the Tudor room green, and we are now returning it back to how a Tudor room should look, with whitewashed walls amongst the oak beams.”

Alongside the restoration work, Prego has introduced a refreshed café experience, with new furnishings, an upgraded courtyard area and plans to reopen the upstairs bistro later this summer.

Customers visiting the café can expect freshly made food, home baked favourites and speciality coffee supplied locally by Heavenly Coffee.

Popular menu items already include homemade cheese scones, sausage rolls, brownies, quiches and Bakewell tarts, with many customers already returning regularly for their favourites.

Deborah said:

“We want Prego to be somewhere people choose to visit every day, whether that’s for coffee, lunch, celebrations or simply spending time with friends and family.

“We want it to become a thriving social space in Chesterfield town centre once again, somewhere everybody feels welcome.”

Future plans for the business include evening openings several nights each week, sharing boards, wine offerings, guest chef evenings and private hire opportunities for celebrations and intimate wedding receptions.

The upstairs function space is also being transformed to host events, complete with a small bar installation.

The business has already achieved a five-star food hygiene rating shortly after reopening, reflecting the owners’ commitment to quality and customer experience.

As passionate dog lovers, the owners have also created a dog-friendly environment complete with treats, water bowls and a “Prego Pawsome Pals” gallery celebrating four-legged visitors.

The café’s location on Low Pavement has also proven popular following the completion of improvements around Chesterfield’s new market area, with the owners praising the support they have received from fellow independent businesses in the town centre.

Deborah added:

“Independent businesses bring personality and community spirit to towns like Chesterfield. Local businesses support local people, and that creates a much more welcoming and vibrant experience for visitors.”

Chesterfield Canal Trust receives funding boost from two local grants

Two tripboats have received funding to support their ongoing maintenance and the visitor experience along the canal. Nottinghamshire County Councillor Bert Bingham has donated from his Councillor’s Divisional Fund to support Hugh Henshall and Dawn Rose, a replica Cuckoo Boat built entirely by hand by Trust volunteers. Both boats are both based at Shireoaks Marina, and are used regularly to welcome visitors onto the canal.

While sections of the canal are currently navigable outside the town, significant restoration work is ongoing to reconnect the canal through to Chesterfield, supported by the Staveley Town Deal and the Chesterfield Canal Partnership.

Nottinghamshire County Councillor Bert Bingham, representing Worksop West, has donated from his Councillor’s Divisional Fund. The funding will support the maintenance of the Trust’s tripboat, Hugh Henshall and Dawn Rose, a replica Cuckoo Boat built entirely by hand by Trust volunteers.

Cllr Bingham said:

“I have long admired the work of the Chesterfield Canal Trust. On behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, I wanted to demonstrate this by supporting the maintenance of these two boats, which bring people from near and far to Shireoaks to enjoy the waterway. Long may this continue.”

Peter Hardy, Chair of the Trust, received a ceremonial cheque from Cllr Bingham at the Stret Lock Open Day.

Peter said:

“We are very grateful to Cllr Bingham for this grant. Hugh Henshall carries hundreds of passengers every year and Dawn Rose demonstrates horse boating during the summer months to sizeable crowds. It costs a surprising amount of money to maintain boats, so this donation is very welcome.”

The Trust has also received additional support from Mansfield Building Society through its Community Support Scheme. The funding will be used to purchase a new bench at Hollingwood Hub.

Laura Beth Harding of Mansfield Building Society presented the cheque to Simon Cork. Laura said:

“We are proud to support many local schemes that improve the everyday lives of people living in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Hollingwood Hub is a delightful oasis of calm and a new bench will offer many years of enjoyment for those visiting or using the canal.”

Simon Cork, a volunteer with the Trust’s gardening team, said:

“We try to keep the Hub as pleasant and attractive as possible for everyone, which is why we have received a Green Flag for nine years in a row. This grant will help us to maintain good outdoor seating for the public to relax.”

East Midlands investment ambitions highlighted ahead of UKREiiF

The East Midlands ambition to become one of the UK’s most attractive investment destinations was showcased to business leaders and developers at the launch of the region’s UKREiiF programme earlier this month.

Mayor of the East Midlands, Claire Ward, and East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) Chief Executive, Amy Harhoff, welcomed businesses, investors and civic representatives from across the region to Derby’s Museum of Making on Wednesday, 6th May 2026.

More than 140 delegates attended the event to learn more about Team East Midlands’ vision and priorities ahead of the UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which attracts more than 16,000 delegates and 3,500 investors and developers, and aims to connect “people, places and business” to drive regeneration and sustainable growth. It takes place at the Royal Armouries Museum and New Dock, Leeds, Tuesday, 19th May to Thursday, 21st May 2026.

Mayor Claire Ward said:

“The East Midlands is a region of real strength and opportunity. We have established industries, emerging sectors, and a clear, shared ambition to drive inclusive growth for all our communities.

“UKREiiF is an event where we can show how serious we are to potential partners, businesses, and stakeholders, because they will be there too, keen to learn about what we have to offer and how they can be part of it.

Mayor Claire Ward added:

“Government at all levels can create the conditions for growth, but we know it is our people and businesses who deliver it. Our region will translate increased investment into good jobs, quality homes, and stronger infrastructure: everything we need for a robust economy.”

The launch event outlined EMCCA’s wider regional priorities and highlighted a collaborative approach to driving investment, regeneration and economic growth across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

This year’s Team East Midlands Pavilion at UKREiiF will showcase major development opportunities, regeneration schemes and investment sites from across our region.

Highlights include discussions around Nottingham’s Trent Sports District, the Supercluster clean energy initiative, and investment opportunities in Derby and Chesterfield.

Among the priorities being highlighted is the Canal Corridor, which has been identified within EMCCA’s Vision for Growth as a major strategic regeneration opportunity for Chesterfield and Staveley.

Destination Chesterfield and Chesterfield Borough Council will attend UKREiiF, showcasing Chesterfield’s investment opportunities.

The Canal Corridor has the potential to deliver 3,900 new homes, 7,800 jobs and £473 million in annual GVA, helping to strengthen connectivity between communities, innovation sites and emerging clean energy clusters across the East Midlands.

Cllr Tricia Gilby, Leader of Chesterfield Borough Council, said:

“Chesterfield is a place with real momentum. We’ve made significant progress in recent years, and our focus now is on building on that success to create a borough where businesses, communities and investors can grow with confidence.

UKREiiF is an important platform for us to highlight the strengths that make Chesterfield such an attractive place to invest,  from our skilled workforce and excellent connectivity to the strong partnerships that drive our regeneration plans. We’re looking forward to meeting delegates who share our ambition and want to be part of the next chapter in Chesterfield’s growth.”

Andrew Byrne, Chair of Destination Chesterfield, commented:

“Chesterfield is bringing forward an investment pipeline of around £2 billion, supported by a diverse range of development‑ready sites across the borough.

From major regeneration zones to employment land and mixed‑use opportunities, the scale of what’s available reflects the confidence investors already have in the town. UKREiiF gives us the platform to highlight these opportunities and demonstrate how partners can play a role in delivering the next phase of Chesterfield’s growth.

An event showcasing Chesterfield’s £2 billion regeneration story will take place in the East Midlands Pavilion at UKREiiF on Thursday, 21st May, from 10.30 until 11.30.
