There has been a lot of change to the skills agenda since Apprenticeship Reforms were introduced in April 2017. This workshop will provide participants with important updates about how apprenticeships are delivered and funded and highlight current funding opportunities and skills support available to your business.

Participants will hear from a number of speakers including the D2N2 LEP, and Sheffield City Region Skills Advisors about local and regional skills priorities around apprenticeships and skills, including the funding and support available for SMEs.
Practical information and guidance will be provided by Chesterfield College who will offer impartial practical advise on how to maximise your return on apprenticeship investment and what to look for in a good apprenticeship training provider.
The College will also update participants about the key changes to the apprenticeship landscape over the last year, including the reduction in the level of contribution required from employers and opportunities arising from Levy transfer.
