Medieval fun day

Step back to the Middle Ages at the Chesterfield Medieval Fun Day.

The Market Place will be full of stalls selling a range of goods as well as fun and games for children also in the Market Square will be popular Proctor’s Fun Fair with a variety of rides and side shows.

Head to the Medieval encampment in the grounds of the Crooked Spire Church to see knights in battle or look out for the Medieval themed entertainment across the town centre.

Fun Fair and Stalls – Market Place
10am – 5pm

Open Day – Crooked Spire Church
10am – 4pm

Hunt the Chesterfield Sprite – Crooked Spire Church
10am – 3pm (church closes at 4pm)

Meet a Medieval Surgeon – Chesterfield Museum
10am – 4pm

Medieval Encampment – Crooked Spire Church
10am – 4.30pm

Dragon and Knight – Market Place  
11.30am – 12noon, 1.15pm – 1.45pm and 2.30pm – 3pm

Tower Tours – Crooked Spire Church

The Tales of Robin Hood Puppet show – Burlington Street

Court Jester – Rykneld Square 
11.30am – 12 noon, 1pm – 1.30pm, 2.15pm – 2.45pm and 3.30pm – 4pm

Skirmishes – Crooked Spire Church Yard

Raddle the Jester and Maiden – Market Place
