The popular Medieval-themed fun day makes a return, with families invited to kick start the summer holidays with a day out on Tuesday 25 July 2023.

It’s a chance to step back into the Middle Ages and see Chesterfield’s history and heritage brought to life.

Don’t miss a day of Medieval Fun in Chesterfield. There will be lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy including a fun fair, stalls in the market and medieval re-enactors.

The Chesterfield Medieval Fun Day is organised by Chesterfield Borough Council.

What’s on at the Chesterfield Medieval Fun Day?

Ever wanted to experience a Medieval encampment? Well, this could be your chance! Head to the grounds outside the Crooked Spire Church to see knights in battle.

You can enjoy lots more medieval-themed entertainment across the town centre. Be entertained by a Tudor musician, see a jester and even meet Epico the Dragon.

Crooked Spire Tower Tours will also be running on the day. Why not count your way up all 144 steps to reveal wonderful views over Chesterfield?
