Junior Park Run
Did you know that Chesterfield has its very own junior parkrun? It’s a really fun and friendly start to Sunday mornings, completely FREE and organised by volunteers!
Parkrun is a global event that happens every weekend in 23 countries & we’re lucky enough to have our very own junior event right here!
It’s a timed run – not a race- every Sunday at 9am at Staveley Welfare Cricket Club on bent lane.
Junior parkrun is 2km & children 4-14years are welcome to take part!
It encourages fitness and well being in young people – all you need is a barcode which you sign up for on the parkrun website parkrun.org.uk
