Poppy display at the Crooked Spire
To commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the end of the Great War, an individual poppy has been knitted for each of the 1,574 service persons from the town that were killed during World War One.
The display, which has been organised by the Royal British Legion and St Mary and All Saints Church, is available to view during the church’s opening hours – Monday to Saturday, 9am to 4.15pm.
