Social Enterprise Support- D2N2 Webinar

What are your plans for 2021; to reach new audiences, take on more clients or diversify your business model in light of current trends and challenges?

Your bottom line is sure to be a priority given the year we’ve had but perhaps you’re also thinking about how your business can operate differently to give more back to local communities or your suppliers? If so, maybe you’re considering setting up as a social enterprise?

“Social enterprise is our best chance of creating a fairer world and protecting the planet.” – Social Enterprise UK

This webinar, facilitated by the D2N2 Growth Hub, offers existing and start-up Social Enterprises an opportunity to find out about some of the support available to them. Featuring a Q&A too, join us to learn about the most appropriate legal structure for your enterprise.

What to expect from the session:

Anthony Byrne from the D2N2 Growth Hub will introduce delegates to the Zoom session, outlining the role of the local Growth Hub to support enterprises to ‘cut through the noise’ to find support to grow and develop.

John O’Donnell, Business Finance Adviser at the D2N2 Growth Hub will provide advice and support around grants and finance followed by a guest speaker from the Key Fund talking about finance and support for Social Enterprises.

Find out about skills and training plus recruitment and apprenticeship support from Nottingham Jobs with Jobs Hub Manager Phill Yates.

Hear from NBV Enterprise Solutions about the support they can offer start-up and existing enterprises. This includes a wealth of support with starting and growing an enterprise including business planning, mentoring, webinars, grants and more.

Rounding off the session will be a presentation by Jules Sebelin about choosing the right legal structure for your social enterprise.

Please note that preference will be given to businesses based in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire for this webinar.
