Superheroes Assemble! Easter Fun
Superhero fans from across the town are in for a real treat this Easter, as Vicar Lane Shopping Centre, Chesterfield is inviting them to swoop in for a weekend of FREE fun, from 11am – 4pm, on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April 2019.
Budding superheroes will be able to enrol at the centre’s awesome superhero academy to learn all they need to know to become the ultimate crusader – with the chance to meet some of their favourite superheroes, pose for spectacular photos and get creative – superhero style!
When they arrive at Superhero HQ, they’ll find an incredible skyscraper archway, a phone box (for superhero transformations), dramatic backdrop – for photo opportunities galore, and a fully fitted out games and training area, where they will be put through their paces and learn all their super-skills. They’ll find a great selection of costumes including Spiderman, Thor and Iron Man and plenty of accessories to help them discover their inner powers.
There will be special guest appearances from Wonder Woman on Saturday and Spiderman on Sunday – giving little ones the perfect opportunity to meet and pose for selfies with their idols!
- On Saturday 13th April, they’ll be able to create their ultimate disguise, making vital assets of their superhero costume in the superhero mask-making workshop
- On Sunday 14th April, they’ll be able to let their imaginations run riot as they create their own superhero comic strips in the centre’s free craft workshop.
On completion of each workshop, all mini-superheroes will receive a Superhero Academy Certificate as well as being awarded their very own superhero name from the generator! The event is the perfect celebration of the launch of the new Marvel movie ‘Avengers: Endgame’ at the end of the month and the perfect free treat for the family during the Easter break.
