Problem solving
This problem solving workshop is an interactive, hands-on experience which allows you to develop the tools and techniques to address your own work problems. The sessions will help you to frame business issues, enabling you to plan projects, meet needs and make business improvements.
Thinking differently in challenging times
Challenging times require leaders to think differently, take action and develop new strategies that will enable the organisation to move forward with a clear vision for the future.
This workshop presents four areas of thought regarding strategic thinking and planning and asks you to think of an appropriate approach to business during and post Covid-19.
Goal setting
Goals are powerful, helping to focus attention on achieving your business aspirations. Goals also provide employees with a sense of direction and an understand of what they are expected to accomplish. The human brain has amazing problem-solving abilities, and goals channel our minds toward finding solutions.
Whilst looking back and considering how your business survived in 2020 is a good idea, it is even more important to look forward to 2021. Now is the time to set your goals and objectives for the year to come and consider what you need to do to achieve them.
This workshop will introduce a range of tools and techniques to enable you to start to plan action steps to reach that goal and adjust the progress toward attaining the goal if necessary.
Action planning
Action planning is the process that guides your day-to-day work. Having a strategic framework helps you identify where you are going and why you are going there. Without an action plan, it is likely that the strategic plan will remain a grand dream.
This workshop aims to help you do detailed, useful action planning, and guides you through a process that could be replicated in an organisation or project.
Information systems for sustaining competitive advantage
Information systems help business leaders make informed decisions for the company, offering current data, background details, and trend analysis. Detailed company information can help businesses to execute both long and short-term plans.
This workshop takes a holistic approach to understanding the type of information required to support business efficiencies including logistics, finance and operations data. The workshop also identifies the key issues and factors associated with the adoption and use of complex, tightly coupled information systems.
