Multi-million refit of Chesterfield's Market Hall
Chesterfield’s historic Market Hall is undergoing a £4 million redevelopment which will provide 45 internal and external retail units, 22 offices, a central café/coffee shop and conference facilities.
The funding package includes £2.1 million of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Lottery grant with the remaining money coming from Chesterfield Borough Council.

They are especially interested in the following uses: artisan bread, books, cup cakes and pastries, cook shop, deli, equestrian, ethnic goods, fish, fishing tackle, gallery – art/photography, hand made jewellery, health foods, olives, real ale, records/music, shoes, speciality ice cream, tea/coffee, toys, vintage goods, wine etc.
- Coffee Shop:
Fantastic opportunity to tender for the lease on the new café area.
- Office Suites:
First and second floor refurbished office suites suitable for a variety of uses.
