Local Employment and Supply Chain Opportunities
An exciting programme of regeneration is taking place across the borough of Chesterfield. As businesses grow and development schemes move forward local employment and supply chain opportunities are created.
Maximising local employment & supply chain opportunities
Chesterfield Borough Council works closely with developers. The team is keen to ensure regeneration projects create opportunities for Chesterfield businesses and residents. Projects should:
- Create employment for local people in the construction and operation of developments
- Facilitate training for local people to help them access the job opportunities created
- Enable local businesses to compete for contracts arising from development.
