Chesterfield named in top 10 of the UK’s Summer Destinations on the Rise in 2017
Chesterfield has been named in the top 10 summer hotspots on the rise in 2017 in a report collated by Holidaylettings.co.uk, a TripAdvisor company and the UK’s leading holiday home booking site.
The list ranks 15 destinations around the UK where holiday rental bookings have soared so far in 2017 compared to last year, based on percentage increase.
Saskia Welman, spokesperson for Holiday Lettings, said:-
“This recent data highlighted Chesterfield as the fifth highest destination “on the rise” in England and tenth overall in the UK, with bookings rising by just over 100%.
“From our latest statistics, we can see that Chesterfield is a holiday destination increasingly in demand. With its historic character and proximity to glorious attractions like Chatsworth and the Peak District, it’s growing in popularity as an ideal base for an escape in rural England.
“Rentals themselves are becoming an ever more popular way to holiday. More and more travellers are seeing the advantages of rental accommodation as an alternative to traditional hotel stays. More space, more privacy, the freedom of feeling at home… and they offer unbeatable value, too.”
