Chesterfield Canal Valentine’s Day Cruise

Why not celebrate Valentine’s Day with a cruise along the scenic Chesterfield Canal aboard the John Varley ll boat?

Departing from Tapton Lock at 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00 and 15.00 on Saturday 14th February, enjoy a 40-minute return cruise taking in local wildlife. You could spot moorhens, kingfishers, deer, herons and moorhens and maybe even have a go at steering!

Tapton Lock Visitor Centre will also be decorated with a ‘love’ theme, welcoming you to stop off for a drink, sandwich, ice cream, and other treats.

We have more than 400 hectares of open space to explore in Chesterfield. Make sure to visit our other outdoor spaces.
