
The much-loved Tapton Lock Festival returns as a mini festival with a host of new activities and entertainment for families to enjoy. Coming 5th September 2026.
What to expect
Launched by Junction Arts in 2013, the Tapton Lock Festival is a free and inclusive celebration, designed to promote health, wellbeing and creativity for local people. For over a decade, it has provided opportunities for people to try new skills, connect with nature and take part in cultural experiences.

Bringing families and friends together to enjoy the outdoors, promoting better health and wellbeing. Experience the magic of live performances by musicians, poets, dancers, visual artists, and storytellers, plus much more!
How to join
All Tapton Lock Festival activities are free and people of all ages are invited to get involved.
