MD Hair

MD Hair is a luxury Wella Premier salon based at the Glass Yard development in Chesterfield.

Their award-winning salon provides high quality services and products in both the hair and beauty industries.

The salon provides a modern and relaxed environment, and provides a wide range of cutting, styling, hair colouring services and make-up. As well as the usual hot drinks and biscuits, the salon is also licenced to provide alcohol for anybody that fancies a cocktail or glass of bubbly during their treatment.

Since moving to the new premises in 2022, the team has increased in size, and is providing apprentices with the opportunity to become qualified stylists. Some of these apprentices have recently qualified, and have become full-time members of the team.

Salon owner, Michelle, also works alongside GHD. This has led to being invited to carry out work at events such as London Fashion Week, and most recently, the Breast Cancer Now charity event, which was hosted by Lisa Snowdon.

Michelle, who has grown up in Chesterfield, says:-

“Chesterfield is a brilliant place to live and work. Despite the large amount of redevelopment and growth happening throughout the area, it still manages to retain is community feel. My work occasionally takes me away from the town. I always see this as an opportunity to tell people how great it is where I live and work. We also regularly hold charity events to raise money for Ashgate Hospice, who do an amazing job for local people. I am proud to have become a Chesterfield Champion and to have the opportunity to promote the town.”
