Tipi Christmas will be in the heart of our market from Friday 7th November to Wednesday 31st December (closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day).
What to expect
The tipi offers the perfect escape during the festive season. Take a break from shopping or meet up with friends as you enjoy a steaming cup of hot chocolate, a glass of mulled wine, or another seasonal treat. With its inviting glow and welcoming atmosphere, the Tipi creates a merry setting right in the heart of Chesterfield Market.
The Tipi is accessible via a ramped entrance. There is also an accessible toilet.
Bring your four-legged friend with you when you stop in for a drink or a snack – you can spoil them with a free dog treat, or splash out on a pup cup.

This festive haven is ideal for anyone looking to unwind and soak up the atmosphere of Christmas in Chesterfield.

Join story time with Santa
Santa will be reading children a festive story in Tipi Christmas from 3.30pm to 4pm on the following Sundays:
- 30th November (British Sign Language interpreter available)
- 7th December
- 14th December
- 21st December
This is a free activity. Places are limited and will be operated on a first come, first served basis.
How to attend
The Chesterfield Tipi Christmas will be open throughout the festive period in the Market Place.
The tipi is accessible via a ramped entrance. There is also an accessible toilet.
Please note the tipi will close at 9pm on New Years Eve.
