RSPCA Chesterfield and North Derbyshire branch
The RSPCA Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Branch is a self-funded, independent charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need across the local area. Based on Spital Lane in Chesterfield, the branch has been serving the community for 80 years, providing vital animal welfare services and promoting responsible pet ownership. Each year, the centre helps hundreds of animals find loving homes. It relies entirely on the generosity of local supporters, volunteers, and businesses.
As part of its commitment to the local area, the branch has joined Destination Chesterfield’s network of Champions. This partnership helps strengthen community connections, raise awareness of its vital work, and encourage collaboration with other local organisations that share its passion for making Chesterfield a kinder place for people and animals.
Rachel Gray, Branch Manager, said:
“Becoming a Chesterfield Champion allows us to celebrate the spirit of community that makes this town so special. Chesterfield is full of people and businesses who genuinely care – and by working together, we can make a real difference for animals in need while supporting the wider local economy and community. It’s a place with heart, and we’re proud to be part of it.”
