Celebrate 60 years of LEGO trains with this collection of railway-themed LEGO displays at Barrow Hill Roundhouse. Bricks in the Roundhouse is a brand new event, coming on the 29th and 30th August.
What to expect
This LEGO fan event is perfect for railway or LEGO fans out there.
Held inside the historic Barrow Hill Roundhouse, this venue is the UK’s last surviving railway roundhouse, home to a range of locomotives.
Browse a variety of special displays that show creative scenes featuring trains, stations, and railroad tracks galore.
Non-railway displays are also welcome and offer extra entertainment for the LEGO fans out there.
Take part in activities throughout your visit too:
- A free activity trail around the venue.
- Mini-Figure Hunt (£1-a-go) with a special prize for the winner drawn at end of the event.
- Free children’s activities, including a speed build and ramp racing.
- Train rides
- Turntable and signal box demonstrations
- An opportunity to visit the Deltic Preservation Society depot
Plus trade stands, food and drink and plenty of free parking.
