CMP Legal strengthens dispute resolution team with senior appointment
Law firm CMP Legal has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of commercial and property litigation specialist Adam Hollis as Dispute Resolution Director.
Adam joins the Legal 500-ranked firm from Midlands law firm Elliott Mather, where he was Partner and Head of Litigation across its Nottingham and Derby offices. Bringing more than 15 years’ experience, he will support the continued growth of CMP Legal’s dispute resolution offering while advising businesses, agricultural clients and private individuals on a broad range of complex matters.
His expertise spans commercial litigation, residential and property disputes, professional negligence, partnership disputes and several specialist areas of law. Living in North Derbyshire, Adam said the opportunity to join an ambitious, client-focused firm based in Chesterfield was a natural next step.

Graysons Solicitors promotes two senior lawyers to partner
Graysons Solicitors has strengthened its leadership team with the promotion of two senior lawyers to partner, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to developing talent from within.
Following its centenary celebrations, the firm has promoted Laura Cowan, Head of Private Client, and Jane Cooper, who leads the firm’s Personal Injury team.
Laura joined Graysons in 2019 and has more than 25 years’ experience advising individuals and families on wills, probate, estate administration, Court of Protection matters and lasting powers of attorney. She is a Chartered Legal Executive, a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and an accredited member of Lifetime Lawyers.
Jane joined the firm in 2021 and has specialised exclusively in claimant personal injury law for more than 30 years. Recognised by The Legal 500, she has extensive experience representing clients in complex and serious injury cases and is an occupational injury specialist.

BRM appoints experienced real estate director
Law firm BRM has strengthened its real estate team with the appointment of Anthony Ogley as Director of Residential and Commercial Development.
Based across Chesterfield and Sheffield, Anthony will lead BRM’s established residential development team, bringing more than 20 years’ experience advising clients on residential and commercial development projects.
He joins the firm from Knights, where he has been a partner since 2020.
Anthony has extensive experience advising on development agreements, funding, site acquisitions and disposals, alongside landlord and tenant matters, investment work and secured lending. His portfolio includes projects ranging from cinema-led retail developments and logistics hubs to multi-unit retail schemes.
