The Staveley Speedwell Rooms are ideal for large parties, conferences and more. The venue also features a licensed bar, which is available in the main hall or the lounge.
Staveley Town Council’s Speedwell Rooms are suitable for all types of events, whether you’re hosting a wedding reception, party, corporate event, or fair. Whatever your event, we are confident that our friendly and personal service will make it special.
The rooms available to book at Staveley Speedwell Rooms include:
- The Main Hall is licensed for 400 theatre style and can seat up to 250 around tables. It also boasts the largest sprung dance floor in North Derbyshire. Additionally, the venue contains a licensed bar, a large fully equipped catering kitchen, a large stage with dressing room and toilets for performers.
- Room One has independent access, alongside the use of a small kitchen, and is suitable for smaller meetings and events for up to 40 people.
- The Lounge (off the Main Hall) is suitable as a break-out room or for small meetings.
The venue has disabled access and there are fully accessible toilets. In addition, it has extensive free parking and vending machines for snacks and Fairtrade drinks.
