Redbrik Foundation Chesterfield 10K

Runners crossing the finish line at Chesterfield 10k

The Redbrik Foundation Chesterfield 10k starts and finishes at Queen’s Park.

Train for a 10k in the heart of Derbyshire.  The Chesterfield 10K will be centred on the heart of Chesterfield, taking in major landmarks such as the town’s famous crooked spire. It will also feature service and cheer stations.

Families can participate in the family-friendly 1k Fun Run. It’s perfect for all family members, even the dog!

Organisers have confirmed that this year’s event will feature the same incredible route as the previous successful races. Starting from Queens Park, the course will lead participants through Chesterfield, heading towards Brampton and Ashgate via Chatsworth Road.

Runners will then proceed towards the historic town centre, making their way down Glumangate, passing by Redbrik’s Chesterfield office and the iconic Crooked Spire.

The race will conclude back at Queens Park, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and cheer on the runners as they complete one final lap of the park.

As its name suggests, the Redbrik Foundation is once again the title partner of the 10k event, alongside other charity partners Ashgate Hospice, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Cavendish Cancer Care. To date, the event has raised over £220,000 for a number of charities and good causes.

Road closures

There will be road closure of roads and junctions, car parking restrictions as well as the suspension of a number of Traffic Regulation Orders between 07:00 until 13:00 on Sunday 24th March 2024.
