Chesterfield Christmas Lights Switch On and Market
Chesterfield Christmas lights switch on is back – and this year is promises to be bigger and better than ever!
The event gets underway from 12noon with the Market Place full of stalls, games and rides.
The stage show will get underway in New Square from 3.30pm with Peak FM providing the fun. There will also be opportunities for everyone to join in the fun with games and prize giveaways courtesy of Peak FM.
As well as a host of local acts, you will also have the opportunity to see stars from this year’s pantomime at the Pomegranate Theatre perform on stage.
The Mayor will perform the big switch-on, which takes place at 4.45pm.
Many local shops will also be open on the day. You can also keep out the chill with a coffee and mince pie at the Market Café in Chesterfield Market Hall.
