The magical Tipi Christmas returns to Chesterfield’s town centre for 2026, offering a cosy retreat filled with rustic festive charm.

Tipi Christmas will be in New Square from Thursday 12th November until Thursday 31st December.

What to expect

Step inside a glittering world of apres ski charm within the huge tipi, which offers the perfect escape during the festive season. The toasty glow of the cracking log fire sits alongside welcoming twinkling lights to create a merry setting right in the heart of Chesterfield Market.

Take a break from shopping for a well-earned glass of spiced mulled wine from the fully-stocked bar, or meet up with friends for an indulgent seasonal cocktail. Pop by with the family for a steaming cup of rich hot chocolate (optionally dashed with a spot of Bailey’s for the grown-ups!). Your four-legged friends aren’t forgotten either – you can spoil them with a free dog treat, or indulge them in a special pup cup.

Open throughout the day and into the evening, it’s a wonderful place to meet friends and family, whether to enhance shopping trips or provide a great start to an evening at the theatre or one of our many incredible local restaurants.

How to attend

Tipi Christmas will be open in New Square from Thursday 12th to Thursday 31st December. Opening times are Sundays to Thursdays from 11:00am to 9:00pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00am to 11:00pm, but the tipi may close early due to bad weather or quiet evenings.

The tipi bar is card only – no cash.

The tipi is accessible via a ramped entrance. There is also an accessible toilet.
