This two-day masterclass will teach you how to put the finishing touches on your medieval outfits to look like a true re-enactor.
What to expect
What makes a re-enactor look like a historical individual?
First, it’s knowing who you are. Then it’s things like the clean linen accessories that show you’ve got dressed, not just slung on a costume. Aprons, belts, purses, gloves; the right piece of luggage or the right shape of cloak.
Bring your outfit(s) – good or bad –and any source material you’d like to discuss Dronfield Hall Barn. From there, you’ll look at original images and records from the thirteenth to the fifteenth centuries, and discuss how to make the best impression you can.
