Learn the basics of pottery while creating your own special little Highland cow with the help of StraightCurves. This Highland cow pottery workshop takes place on Friday 21st August.
What to expect
You’ll quickly discover a love for working with clay!
Led by artist and passionate potter instructor Vicky, this workshop is a warm welcome to the wonderful world of hand-building.
This class is inclusive of all abilities, with clear, step-by-step demonstrations guiding you through the entire making process. Vicky will explain and teach various techniques, tailored specifically to the items you’ll be creating.
While primarily for adults, anyone aged 12 and over is very welcome when accompanied by a participating adult. As long as younger participants are able to maintain concentration and engagement throughout the three-hour session and are happy to be in an adult class.
Working with clay is a truly expressive, creative, and fun experience. There’s nothing quite like getting lost in the tactile sensation of moulding and shaping clay in your hands – it’s a wonderful escape and a fantastic way to unleash your creativity.
