Families can get into the festive spirit with a visit to Santa’s brand-new cosy grotto throughout the Christmas period, from 27th November until Christmas Eve (24th December).

What to expect

Step into Santa’s cosy new home in the newly refurbished New Square and enjoy a magical festive experience in the heart of Chesterfield. Children will have the chance to meet Santa and receive a gift suitable for their age, along with a wishing coin to take home.

Families can capture the moment with their own photographs, or choose to purchase a professional photo of their visit with Santa.

And it’s not just the children who can join in the Christmas magic. The grotto is dog-friendly, so well-behaved four-legged family members can come along, meet Santa and even find out whether they’ve made his nice list this year.

How to attend

Santa’s Grotto will be open throughout the festive period.

Due to the popularity of Santa’s Grotto, visitors are encouraged to book tickets early to secure their preferred date and time slot. Up to four children can be included on one booking.
