Founded in the late 1950s, Graphoidal Developments is a specialist lubrication, dosing and spraying systems and machinery manufacturer uniquely qualified to provide the necessary expertise, products and support services for the international glass container and tableware industries. Any glass beer, wine, spirits bottle or glass jars will likely be made with Graphoidal equipment used during manufacturing.
Based in Chesterfield, Graphoidal Developments has a powerful reputation and one objective: to provide highly efficient solutions designed to make its customers’ manufacturing process more efficient, productive, and profitable. On paper, it’s simple, but in practice, it’s the driving force behind our wide range of high-performance standard and custom-built equipment. Our expertise is in the precise pumping, mixing control, dosing control, and spraying of lubricants and coatings, which are vital to the glass production process. We also understand the importance of the need for reliable operation of our equipment. We know many of our systems are used in 24-7 production line processes where failure is not an option. As a result, we build equipment up to a quality, not down to a price.
The business started as a small family concern supplying equipment and lubricants to the steel industry, initially based on Wreakes Lane in Dronfield. During the 1990s, the business started diversifying and working locally with Dema Glass. The business then relocated, in the early 2000s, to the Sheepbridge Industrial estate in Chesterfield. In 2004, the Lyon-based Rondot Group acquired the business. Our success has been achieved by manufacturing high-quality equipment and providing high levels of customer service, which we take great pride in delivering. We have the experience, specialist skills and in-house system design capability to generate bespoke, original designs at competitive prices. We have 43 staff members across various job functions, from admin to engineering.
