The Sooty Show Chesterfield

Sooty heads to the Pomegranate Theatre this half term.  Direct from their hit ITV series, Sooty, Sweep and Soo and TV’s Richard Cadell will amaze you with impossible tricks and sidesplitting jokes! Be astounded at Sooty’s flying car, Soo’s singing unicorn and Sweep’s levitating sausage.  Find out more and book tickets.

If in the town centre, the Traditional Victorian Carousel will be in Chesterfield’s New Square for the half term, from 10am until 5pm. Find out more.

Why not head to Chatsworth and give your little ones a great place to spend their half term, the farmyard and adventure playground will be open for the February school holidays.Join in on some swashbuckling fun at the farmyard and adventure playground this February half-term. Blast pirate targets on our trailer ride, dare to handle the spiders and snakes, explore the adventure playground and meet all the animals in our farmyard. Rother Active Youth are a community group set up to provide extra-curricular activities for children based in the Rother area (Grangewood, Brampton, Boythorpe and Birdholme) of Chesterfield. They have put together a range of half term activities. Find out more here.

Celebrate Chesterfield’s Past

Learn about life in the Stone Age at the Chesterfield Museum with period axes, arrows and tools available to handle. Have a go at rubbing engravings of Stone Age art and grinding corn using a quern stone. Find out more.

Crooked Spire Lunchtime concerts
