The CPPGroup Plc (CPP), which specialises in providing payment card protection, mobile phone and identity theft insurance, opened its third UK contact Centre in Chesterfield on 24 July 2008. CPP provides outsourced marketing services on behalf of its business partners, predominately in the financial services and telecom sector, and has over 10 million customers worldwide.
Stephen Kennedy, CPP Northern Europe managing director, said, “We picked Chesterfield as the location for our new site because it is the heart of the East Midlands with a number of established contact centres. Its diverse economy, good infrastructure and well-educated population also create an excellent location for investment. It is one of the biggest inward investments in Chesterfield in recent years and will contribute millions of pounds into the local economy.”
