Champions launch event for the Chesterfield Canal Festival

Time: 12:30pm – 2:00pm (networking opportunities – boat trips – food and refreshments) 2pm – 3pm (Presentations)
Venue: Staveley Town Basin, S43 3XZ
The Chesterfield Canal Trust is inviting Champions to an event at the basin on the afternoon of Friday 23rd June for their partners, politicians, waterways organisations, potential funders, potential sponsors, potential contractors, the local business community and journalists, launching the 2023 Chesterfield Canal Festival.
Gates will open at 12.30.
There will be onsite parking, boat trips and a buffet lunch.
There will be displays about the plans for the forthcoming development of the canal.
There will be about an hour of short presentations about these plans at 2 p.m.
Afterwards, there will be a guided tour to show what is proposed and further time for boat trips.
There will also be networking time with food and refreshments available which provides time to catch up with fellow Champions. If you would like to attend, please book a place as soon as possible.
This event is open to Chesterfield Champions only – all bookings made that are not Champion organisations will be removed.
