New for 2026, Chesterfield will host a three-day Christmas-themed market from Friday 20th November to Sunday 22nd November 2026.
What to expect
The market will take place in the heart of our town centre, including Market Place and New Square. Combined with festive lighting and seasonal decorations, helping to create a welcoming Christmas atmosphere.
Look forward to browsing stalls from local independent traders, artisan makers, craft producers and food and drink vendors.
Expect to find artisan gifts, handmade crafts, festive treats, seasonal food and drink, family-friendly attractions and live entertainment. You can even have a tipple in the Après Ski-style bar area.
Enjoy live entertainment on Friday 20th November and Saturday 21st November. On Sunday 22nd November, the Christmas Market will coincide with our annual Christmas Lights Switch On, bringing together two events to kick off the festive season.
The Christmas Market will be open from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 11:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday.
