Chesterfield Yu-Gi-Oh! fans can now step into serious competition as the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Regional Qualifiers take place on Sunday 5th April in our town centre.

What to expect

This is your chance to test yourself and compete for a place in the next stage of the championship series.

For beginners, Yu-Gi-Oh! is a strategic trading card game where players use customised decks to duel one another. Each player starts with 8,000 Life Points and aims to reduce their opponent’s total to zero. You can summon monsters, activate spell and trap cards, and build combinations that can quickly shift control of the field.

On the day, players must know their KONAMI ID upon arrival to ensure a smooth process regarding entry. If you do not have one, please install the NEURON app on android or IOS and make an account via the app. This will provide you with an ID.

If you’re new, you can watch high-level matches up close and learn how competitive play unfolds. Meanwhile, experienced duelists can expect a challenging tournament as they work through their matches. Ultimately, every round brings you closer to qualification.
