Accepting your place as a finalist
Congratulations! Your establishment has been selected as a finalist for the Chesterfield Food and Drink Awards. Please keep this information confidential until 4th July, when we will have heard from all finalists and issued a press release.
To find the winners, we would like to send two mystery judges per category to your establishment on two separate occasions. The judging period will take place between Monday 29th July and Sunday 18th August only.
If you would like to be considered for an award, please read through the terms and conditions that relate to your category below and complete the form below by 5pm on Friday 21st June to confirm your acceptance.
Winners will be announced at a black tie awards ceremony at the Winding Wheel Theatre on the evening of Wednesday 23rd October. We hope you will be able to join us and tickets are available below.

Terms & Conditions
Two mystery judges will visit your venue on separate occasions. A voucher will be given to each judge with the below Terms & Conditions. Please read the below carefully, especially the information indicating the complimentary items to be offered by the establishment.
Standard – applicable to all categories
- The judging period will take place between Monday 29th July and Sunday 18th August only.
- The judge may take family or friends with them but he/she will need to pay for any further food or drink ordered. Only one person is entitled to the complimentary items stated on the voucher.
- Please present the voucher ONLY when settling your bill.
- Scoring must not be completed until you have left the establishment.
Pub / Bar of the Year Award
- The voucher entitles one judge to one complimentary drink.
- Please visit the establishments during the evenings only.
Family Friendly Award
- Please make a reservation before visiting.
- The family eligible to judge will be up to two adults and up to two children.
- Each member of the family is entitled to 2 complimentary courses and 1 complimentary drink.
Restaurant of the Year Award
- Please make a reservation before visiting.
- Each judge is entitled to 3 complimentary courses and 1 complimentary drink.
Best Out of Town Award
- Please make a reservation before visiting.
- Each judge is entitled to 3 complimentary courses and 1 complimentary drink.
All other categories
- Please make a reservation before visiting.
- Each judge is entitled to 2 complimentary courses and 1 complimentary drink.
