Get outdoors
Find your moment of peace in our many green spaces – from parks, trails and nature reserves to many heritage sites. Also, remember you can easily discover the beautiful Peak District from Chesterfield via our transport links and cycling trails.
Family-friendly places to visit
You can spend time at Queen’s Park in our town centre, whether that’s a game on the green or learning to ride a bike. Keep an ear out for the whistle of the much-loved miniature train as it makes its way around the park. Just one of the many great outdoor spaces to enjoy.
There are also plenty of activities to try, from axe throwing to family-friendly escape games.
Chesterfield by night
What kind of night out do you fancy? Music and dancing – or perhaps a relaxed gathering with friends, chatting over a drink or two? If you need a laugh, catch a comedy act.

Beyond our town centre, venture into the scenic Peak District, where you can enjoy breathtaking landscapes and charming villages.
