The local music scene
A key music venue for Chesterfield, hidden on Marsden Street is Real Time Live. The purpose-built space can hold up to 250 people and has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Real Time Live hosts a variety of gigs of events – from rock and blues to pop and retro. It also supports community and charity events during the year. And the business even offers its own brand of real local ale – Real Time Live Best – created in partnership with Brampton Brewery on Chatsworth Road.

You will find big names at the Winding Wheel Theatre and the Pomegranate Theatre. Comedians that have visited in the past include Jimmy Carr, Jason Manford and Katherine Ryan. There’s a full range of theatre – from tribute bands and musicals to murder mysteries from the West End. And of course, the Pomegranate Theatre provides a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy the latest films, just a few weeks after general release.
