Enabling Innovation: Innovation driving productivity
East Midlands Chamber are pleased to be working in partnership with Nottingham Trent University (NTU) to be able to invite you to join us for the first of a series of innovation events the University will be delivering across the D2N2 region.
This event will focus on NTU’s Enabling Innovation offer available to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) from the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area.
You will have the opportunity to hear about the varied offer from the University specialists who will be offering support to businesses over the next 2 years, as well as hear from industry experts on driving productivity in your enterprise.

- Productivity – Tom Moore, Director, Grant Thornton LLP – The Facts – Statistical information on productivity by region and by Local Authority, plus comparisons across the UK and internationally
- Apprenticeships – Bev Moxon of Skills Funding Agency/National Apprenticeship Service – an update on the forthcoming apprenticeship reforms
- Skills/Talent – Emmie Studencki, Nottingham Trent University – will be outlining the NTU Enabling Innovation offer
- Department of International Trade (DIT) – Internationalising your business: strategies, routes and DIT support (tbc)
The event will be followed by a chance to network, refreshments will be provided.
