Straightcurves Little Creatives
Little Creatives are workshops designed especially for pre-school children and their parents.
Taking place at the purposely-designed studios on Saltergate, in the heart of Chesterfield, they are creative sessions of various arts, crafts and storytelling activities for children aged 2 – 4 years.
Little Creatives happens every Monday and Friday morning during term time from 9.45 until 11am. (The main crafty activity will usually start just after 10am – so don’t panic if you are running late!)
Sessions are £5.25 and must be booked in advance.
The price of the session includes squash for the children, cuppas for the parents and biscuits for all, as well as all materials used during the sessions!
Schedule
We start with free time playing with toys or colouring in and then each session involves two crafty makes. The first crafty make normally starts around 10am and the second around 10.30am -subject to toddler moods. In between and after the crafty fun there are toys for children to play with, books to look at and the occasional biscuit for adults and children alike. Occasionally we also manage to squeeze in a quick story in the middle too!
